Gandhinagar, Saturday: Union Home and Cooperation Minister and MP of Gandhinagar and a native of
Mansa Shri Amit Shah gifted Mansa with many development works today. Shri Amit Shah inaugurated
the Sardar Patel Cultural Bhavan constructed by Mansa Municipality on Mansa-Makakhad Road in
premises of Malav Lake. Before this, he also inaugurated the Mahatma Gandhi Library. Union Home and
Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah said that history is a witness that Mansa has always been the
leader with regards to education and development it it now their turn to maintain it. He calls upon the
youth to come forward and contribute towards overall development of Mansa.

Patel, Minister of State for Home Affairs and Gandhinagar Minister in-charge Shri Harsh Sanghvi,
President of Mansa Municipality Smt Kailash Patel were present on this occasion.
Shri Amit Shah, expressing his happiness after coming to his native place said that I am a native of this
village for 900 years. I came here when I was six months old and grew up playing here. Today I feel
happy and satisfied to inaugurate the three-storey building of the library where I studied the history of
India, read the stories of Panchatantra, learned the economics of Kautilya and got the chance to read
Vidur Neeti during my childhood days. At this stage he remembered Maharashtrian Dr. Mohile and said
that The library was started with the efforts of Dr. Mohile and the charity of Shri Chandu Mafa Shah. My
grandfather used to run this library at home, later on it was established in the market.
Shri Amit Shah said that this library of Mansa is now electronically connected with 30 other libraries of
the world. Youth of Mansa can now connect to British Library, M J Library or Gujarat Vidyapith Library
from their place itself. Mansa Library will be online from August 31 st . The youth of Mansa will be able to
benefit from millions of books.
Shri Amit Shah gifts Rs. 9000 crore development works to the constituency in three
years
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah said that the future of a country does not depend
on how many factories exists in the country, or how big the country’s army is, or how much tax the
country collects, but on how many young people take advantage of the libraries in the country. With the
blessings of our forefathers the horizons of Mansa’s library have expanded, today there are 10
computers in Mansa’s library, 40 computers will be arranged soon as the students start making use of
them. He requested the youth of Mansa to make maximum use of this library.
Shri Amit Shah said that a civil hospital with ultra-modern facilities will be started in Mansa in the near
future. He called upon the citizens of Mansa to take responsibility for this.The water supply scheme is
being shaped up to meet the daily human requirement of ten lakh litres of water.Not only this, the
Mansa-Bawla road which will be a four lane road at a cost of Rs. 40 crore. Mansa Sewerage Scheme wil
be expanded at the cost of Rs. 50 crore. Mansa Municipality has also made provisions for disposal of
approximately 5000 tons of solid waste. He further said that In the near future the benefits of 13 types
of cooperative schemes have been planned to be accomplished. He called upon everyone to make
arrangements so that no facility is left out in the next two years.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel on this occasion said that Union Home and Cooperation Minister
Shri Amit Shah has done many development works in his constituency. Development works of Rs. 9000
crore have been done In the last three years in his constituency.
The Chief Minister said that this government is working in such a way that no stone will be left
unturned . The library and the cultural hall inaugurated today which is named after Mahatma Gandhi as
Mahatma Gandhi Library and cultural hall named after Sardar Patel as Sardar Patel Cultural Hall. Every
Gujarati’s feels proud when they hear the names of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel, he said and also
added that the library and cultural hall will continue to make the people proud. Students will study in
the library and build their careers and fulfill the dreams of Gandhi and Sardar Patel. Also, the Prime
Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi, will come forward to make the slogan of self-reliant a
reality.
The Chief Minister added that this government is doing development works to solve the problems of the
people, to do public welfare works, and to ensure that no money of the people is wasted. The country’s
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah have
given good governance to the country through the politics of development, he said, adding that Union
Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah has prioritized gardens and tree plantation to make his
constituency green. Also, the Prime Minister has called for Mission Million Tree under Azadi ka Amrit
Mahotsav. He also expressed his satisfaction that Gujarat is a leader in the direction of sustainable
development.

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah today inaugurated the 530-seat advanced Sardar
Patel Cultural Bhavan in Mansa Municipality area at a cost of over Rs 100 crore and the Mahatma
Gandhi Library built at a cost of Rs 38 lakh was inaugurated. Apart from that, laid foundation stone for
various road works in the municipal area at a cost of Rs 153 lakh and various developmental works of
the municipality at a cost of Rs 120 lakh. Shri Amit Shah visited the library after inaugurating the library
and also got extensive information about the first e-library setup in Mansa. He also visited Mansa Civil
Hospital and got detailed information about the various works to be done in the near future.
On this occasion, Gandhinagar District BJP President Shri Anil Patel welcomed the dignitaries and gave
an overview of the various development works done in Mansa Municipality and talukas.
On this occasion, former MLA Shri Amit Chaudhary, Development Commissioner Shri Rajkumar Beniwal,
Gandhinagar District Collector Dr. Kuldeep Arya a large number of officials and people from various
towns were present.
